Cost of services relates to the time spent on your project. The cost is $22 for the first hour of work and $10 per hour after that. Rush projects (any project with a requested complete-by date within 3 days of submission) cost an extra $10 for the first hour and an extra $5 perhour after. Most standard transposition jobs take roughly one hour. For projects of unsual size, either large or small, prices can be negotiated appropriate to the workload. If you refer a friend and he or she names you in the project description box, you will receive a $5 discount off your next project, so be sure to tell your friends!

Here's the basic idea of how to submit your project:

Download the Project Form. Fill out the form as completely as possible. Email is mandatory; physical address is only mandatory if you wish for your project to be mailed to you. When you have filled out the project, save it, then e-mail it to projects@bjdmusic.com. If you use an email application such as Microsoft Outlook, you may click on the "Submit by Email" button at the top to send it. Remember to attach all files necessary to complete your project. Failure to do so will delay the completion of your project.

Here's a more detailed look at how this works:

  1. Submit your project using the Project Form. Fill out the form as completely as possible. You are required to supply any original music needed for a project. Any requests for a complete-by date should be stated in the project description area.
  2. You should receive an email within 24 hours. This email includes all information you submitted in your project request, as well as the anticipated completed-by date and an ESTIMATED workload/cost. You have 24 hours from the timestamp on this email to cancel the project or you will be responsible for any work done on the project.
  3. No later than the complete-by date (hopefully before), your project will be finished! You will receive an important email describing the work done on the project including a statement of workload and cost and instructions for payment. Respond appropriately.
  4. Your project will be sent as soon as payment is noticed and recorded, no later than 24 hours afterwards.

Notes on orders

To complete your project as quickly and efficiently as possible, all submissions can be digital, via internet. The fastest way to submit your project is by submitting your music as an electronic file, and unless stated in the project instructions, all returned documents will be in .pdf format and all returned audio files will be in .mp3 format. Not everyone has access to digital technology, however. I can receive materials through regular post, or electronically. I cannot yet receive faxes. I can send materials electronically or through post. All payment may be made through PayPal, safely and easily.

As always, e-mail any questions, comments, or concerns!
